Responsibilities

We are seeking early in career and senior engineers to join a new team at the Microsoft Development Center in Prague, Czech Republic. We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology, with a specific focus on supporting Rust and C++ compilers, developing high-performance runtimes for critical applications, and enhancing design-time experiences for large legacy applications. But that's just the start – once you're part of this dynamic team, you'll empower customers on Windows, Linux, and Azure. All team members take ownership of the customer experience and develop skills in the complete software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, EE, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience in production software development
• Experience working with one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Rust, Java, or C#
  
  

Plus Some Combination Of The Following

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Comfortable with algorithms and data structures
• Entry level compiler or language design course work
• Knowledge of modern CPU architecture fundamentals
• Knowledge of operating systems fundamentals (Linux and/or Windows)
• Experience with debugging, profiling, and/or code analysis
