Within CO+I, the strategic Supply Chain team is responsible for establishing a supply chain that can meet the ever-growing growth of the Microsoft Cloud and our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects and operations of those assets. We are looking to fill a critical role of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Project Manager.

Responsibilities

The EPC Project Manager is expected to lead fast track project execution leveraging a matrixed team of dedicated and functional support team members. Holds self and others accountable; delegates tasks and leadership responsibilities as appropriate to foster growth. This position will report to the EPC General Manager.

  • EPC Project Manager
    • Lead assigned EPC projects and remain accountable to the EPC leadership team.
    • Lead EPC dedicated team towards project success
    • Maintain active engagement from CO+I Partners and Functional support teams.
    • Support EPC General Manager in coordination with other projects as needed.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years related experience
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 10 years’+ experience leading Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) Projects with overlapping phases
Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 15+ years related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Project Controls experience with integration of cost, schedule and forecasting in support of optimized decisions.
  • Experience in direct field oversight of contractor or craft.
  • Full understanding of project execution including conceptual engineering, detail engineering, supply chain, construction, and commissioning.
  • Experience in planning and execution within construction
  • Experience in direct construction at the site
  • Practical understanding of project risk management and commercial management.
  • Experienced in utilizing project controls tools for decision making.
Construction Project Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 - $266,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 - $292,200 per year.
