JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for working closely with Global and Regional Supply Chain and Logistics teams as a core member of Global SAP Warehouse Management (Inbound to Outbound) IT team assisting in planning activities, providing work estimates, developing functional design specifications, configuring SAP EWM/WM/ modules, testing, training, and developing documentation. This role will be a part of the technological transformation to EWM of a global market leader and innovator in mobility and transport technology
Essential Functions:
- Provide analysis and support for IT projects relative to warehouse and inventory management functions for all products on various platforms to enable digitization and business process initiatives. These projects could include configuration of warehouse management including the design of stock placement and stock picking strategies, batch management, RF screen design, relational warehouse organizational structures and interfaces to EWM/WM external systems.
- Works closely with local, regional and global teams on warehouse management activities and projects. Ensure business requirements adhere to global IT tools and solution roadmap.
- Provide project leadership for regional or global projects according to KB Project management methodology.
- Provide 3rd level support and root cause analysis of SAP EWM/WM/ modules including support and testing of releases, enhancement packages, upgrades.
- Provide analysis and support of IT projects/rollouts including system configuration, test execution, user training, preparation of go-live, data migration and end-user support
- Define and update documentation of modules / applications, including training material
- Develop functional specifications for ABAP programs.
- Assist in establishing best processes for activities within all SAP modules, primarily EWM/WM. This includes working closely with internal and external customers, and other IT personnel to identify process gaps and define potential solutions
- Interface with business users and analyze business processes and specify/configure application to efficiently support those needs.
- Participate on process improvement teams utilizing Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
- Provide 3rd level support and participate in the resolution of production problems 24x7.
- Support the ITIL change management processes
- Participate in defining and integrating other ERP modules such as QM, MM, PP, and SD.
Knowledge:
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP Extended Warehouse Management and SAP Warehouse management concepts, transactions, interfaces and configuration particularly within the automotive and rail industries.
- Knowledge of data migration processes including how to manipulate, cleanse and load data.
- Knowledge of SAP EWM
- Knowledge of SAP Automotive Solution desired.
- Knowledge on how SAP EWM/WM interfaces with other IT systems.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (ex. PMP, ASAP, Agile/Scrum)
- Basic ITIL knowledge a plus; ITIL certification a plus
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of IT analytical and ERP experience, Minimum 3 years SAP EWM experience.
- Experience in configuring SAP embedded EWM, and SAP WM module.
- Demonstrated experience with implementing SAP EWM or other SAP processes utilizing project management methodologies (ex. PMP, ASAP, Agile/Scrum)
- Experience infull-cycle implementations of SAP.
- Basic programming knowledge and debugging concepts is preferred.

- ITIL knowledge required; ITIL certification a plus
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or other related discipline required.
- SAP Academy certification a plus.
- English language skills required.
Position Requirements:
- This position requires approximately 20% travel annually, both domestic and international.
