Internal Role Title: Head RA MOW New Product Strategy

Location: Singapore #LI-Hybrid

About the Role:

Lead the new product submissions and approvals across the Most of World (MOW) region (Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa) for the Novartis portfolio.
Drive strategic feedback from MOW perspective into global development to achieve commercial objectives and ensure regional specific requirements are considered during Drug Development.

Key Responsibilities :-

• Lead the strategy across the MOW region in collaboration with the Sub-region Heads, to ensure launch of products for Novartis portfolio.
• See opportunities and challenges to meet submission and approval targets. Develop and implement mitigation plans with sub-region, team and RA Development Unit teams.
• Provide input into Regulatory Functional Plan, ensure requirements are known to meet business targets.
• Partner with teams to ensure business objectives are understood and taken into account during development of strategy. Provide advice impacting planning.
• Provide expertise and leadership to partners and teams. Identify and leverage opportunities for cross-country, partnership and alignments with Sub-region Heads.
• Liaise with RA teams and/or commercial organization to ensure the vital support to countries to implement strategies. Provide Subject Matter expertise in product development for assigned portfolio to region and in regional requirements to global development organization
• ‘Translate’ sophisticated global development information into tangible actions and strategic considerations for countries and sub-region heads. Represent RA MOW in Regulatory sub-teams for key projects/products and provide relevant regional input
• Ensure open, complete and timely communication to regional team, management and key partners .Deliver training opportunities to countries within region. Facilitate standard methodology sharing across region and with other regions.
• Increase regional regulation awareness within global organization. Represent global Regulatory Affairs in Emerging Market Brand (EMB) Go-To team
• Recruits talent, leads performance (set objectives, review performance and plan compensation) and develop associates (development/training plans, coaching or mentoring, as appropriate) within own team
