Early Product & Launch Excellence Lead

As an Early Product Planning and Launch Excellence Lead, you will be accountable for building the foundation of successful future launches by mastering a fast-changing environment and building sustainable networks throughout the lifecycle of innovative medicine. Drive early launch excellence through early identification, prioritization of assets and pipeline management. Lead the collaboration across functions and with the cluster, region and Global level to plan, and deliver the pre-launch activities.

About the Role

Major Accountabilities:

  • Early identification and overview of new molecular entities and product line extension needs (e.g. new indications, formulations and/or dose strengths of a new molecular entity).
  • Drives and coordinates the cross-functional review of the portfolio to assess new product potential and priority, supporting the decision to launch/not launch the product.
  • Contributes to mapping/profiling of ME/decision makers/other stakeholders.
  • Mapping of patient journey and treatment patterns.
  • Develops peer-to-peer relationships, engage and establish partnerships to gain contributions by ME and other external stakeholders.
  • Provides and discusses scientific information and data to healthcare professionals
  • Accountable to identify clinical investigators with research proposals that are consistent with our product development strategies for facilitating the execution of Managed Access Programs (MAP) Investigator Initiated Studies, Research Collaborations, and RWE studies.
  • Strategic partner in interdisciplinary local Disease Team where strategic and tactical decisions with respect to priority projects are prepared or taken.
  • Coordinates and executes Market Analysis for new upcoming launches

Job Requirements:

  • Any of the following: MD, PhD, or MSc, in life sciences with solid medical/scientific background
  • MSc in health economics or epidemiology will be considered as an extra asset
  • 5 years’ experience of the Healthcare System in data generation
  • Scientific acumen; Healthcare system understanding
  • Ability to establish engagement and build partnerships with Medical Experts and Health Policy stakeholders
  • Holistic understanding across the pharmaceutical market and the product life cycle
  • Business Acumen and Strategic mindset
  • Emotional Intelligence, strong interpersonal skills, team player
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; be inspiring, curious and unbossed
  • Authentic leadership - Demonstrate executive presence, communication skills, ability to influence, build trusted peer-to-peer relationships
  • Adaptable – is willing to change and grow in an uncertain and fast moving environment (high learning agility)
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both in verbal and written communications
