The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Oracle and Exadata to manage, maintain, and optimize mission-critical database environments. The ideal candidate will manage mission-critical database environments, optimize performance, support cloud migrations, automation initiatives and security of database platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.

Your Impact

As Database Administrator (Oracle and Exadata) your responsibilities would consist of:

o Database Administration: Install, configure, upgrade, and patch, troubleshoot performance issues, tune queries, manage replication/clustering.o Automating provisioning, patching, alert resolutionso Configuring VCN, subnets and security groups for databaseso Performance & Capacity Planning: Optimize workloads, forecast scaling needs.o Configure Oracle grid infrastructure, ASM and RAC clusterso Implement data guard for DR and HAo Support Exadata db@cloud deploymentso Define and enforce database security policies, including TDE, auditing, and access controlso Collaborate with InfoSec teams to conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scanso Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for performance degradation, node failures, or data loss incidentso Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and architectural blueprints

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

Experience

3+ years DBA experience with Oracle databases and ExadataOracle RAC (Real Application Clusters): Setup, maintenance, and troubleshootingASM (Automatic Storage Management): Disk group management and performance tuningData Guard: High availability and disaster recovery configurationRMAN (Recovery Manager): Backup, restore, and cloning operationsSQL & PL/SQL: Advanced query tuning, procedure development, and debuggingOracle Enterprise Manager (OEM): Monitoring, alerting, and diagnosticsTransparent Data Encryption (TDE): Data protection at restPerformance Tuning: AWR, ADDM, ASH, SQL Plan Management
