We’re looking for a Systems Analyst to join our IT Development team that drives Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) digital experiences and supports business processes across the organization. This team is responsible for building and maintaining Shopify stores, customer-facing applications, backend systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day business operations.
As a Systems Analyst, you’ll be the bridge between business and technology - translating business requirements into technical solutions, supporting ongoing operations, and making sure our platforms and processes run seamlessly.
Responsibilities (English)- Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Collect, review, and analyze requirements from multiple departments.
- Ask clarifying questions, identify hidden needs, and validate scope with stakeholders.
- Review PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) from the Product team.
- Business Process Maintenance & Support
- Monitor business process logs and proactively identify issues.
- Investigate and resolve reported process-related problems.
- Answer internal stakeholders’ questions about system workflows.
- Prepare and maintain clear process documentation.
- Business Process Design
- Participate in the design and optimization of business processes in areas like ERP,
- Customer Service (CS), Sales, and E-commerce.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align process design with system capabilities.
- Recommend improvements to streamline workflows and boost efficiency.
- Translation to Technical Solutions
- Convert business requirements into technical requirements and solutions.
- Ensure alignment between product goals, business workflows, and development feasibility.
- Communicate effectively with developers across backend, frontend, and integrations.
- System & Data Analysis
- Run SQL queries and analytics against backend databases to support investigations and reporting.
- Support integration projects and data flows across APIs, XML, and JSON-based systems.
- Project & Workflow Management
- Manage Jira tickets - ensuring tasks are well-defined, prioritized, and tracked.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Support new team extensions and setup processes for scaling development.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Partner with QA teams and developers to validate solutions.
- Contribute to functional and integration testing.
- Proven experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in IT development.
- Hands-on experience in designing and maintaining business processes (ERP, Customer Service, Sales, E-commerce).
- Strong knowledge of Shopify and e-commerce platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing backend data.
- Understanding of web development fundamentals: backend, frontend, databases, APIs, XML, JSON.
- Practical experience with:
- Zendesk or Salesforce (customer service and CRM processes)
- Snowflake (data analysis and warehousing)
- Postman (API testing)
- QA processes (manual and functional testing)
- Jira experience for project and workflow management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
