The Sr. Controls Analyst role will support Information Security processes by ensuring effective quarterly monitoring, testing and compliance of information security controls. The role will focus on providing guidance to InfoSec control owners, process owners and cross-functional teams in the design, implementation and monitoring of security controls.
The role will also support the annual risk assessment process and also be responsible for the implementation of new controls, mapping of existing controls and aligning controls to select industry frameworks.
This role requires an understanding of Information Security standards, control frameworks, control design and testing concepts, and the ability to communicate and coordinate across teams.
Responsibilities- Support control testing and compliance activities within cybersecurity, ensuring alignment with Quarterly and Annual timelines
- Plan, communicate and coordinate control activities, timelines and testing
- Support the risk assessment process and maintain control activities and documentation of processes and mapping control objectives and attributes
- Create and maintain reports and provide regular metrics related to control effectiveness
- Collaborate with various stakeholders in managing the control lifecycle, including updates, quarterly testing, and reporting activities
- Provide support to process owners on controls, control activities and cybersecurity Policy and Standards
- Support risk assessments and security control initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or Computer Science (or equivalent) is required
- 3+ years of experience in Controls or Cybersecurity role preferred
- The candidate needs to have experience working in a global environment
- Ability to effectively communicate across teams, business partners and employees at all levels across the organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Solid technical understanding of application development and security controls
- Technical understanding of application development and security controls
- Preferred experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
