Full end-to-end responsibility for the quality of raw materials in the metal plant – from incoming inspection, through lab operations and supplier management, to driving continuous improvement and maintaining ongoing communication with the production floor.

Job Description:

• Full end-to-end responsibility for raw material quality – from supplier and logistics stages through receipt at the plant.

• Manage relationships with raw material suppliers, including handling quality issues, conducting lessons learned, and maintaining ongoing communication.

• Investigate and resolve storage and transportation issues together with the Logistics team, including implementing lessons learned and process improvements.

• Perform and manage incoming quality inspections for raw materials, including testing, receiving goods, verifying documentation, and releasing inventory.

• Perform basic operation of the analytical laboratory, including calibrations and ensuring the validity of required tests.

• Support raw material quality audits, including preparation for documentation, specifications, and testing methods.

• Monitor non-conformances and corrective actions within quality systems, and present relevant KPI trends.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering (Engineer or Practical Engineer) – required

• 1–2 years of experience in the field – advantage

• High level of English (reading, writing, and speaking) – required

• Experience in delivering presentations and conducting training sessions

• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment; organized, methodical, assertive, and able to drive processes

• Ability to work in a multi-interface, multi-task environment
