Your Impact

As Indirects Procurement Senior Analyst – Software your responsibilities would consist of:

The Senior Analyst will support the sourcing, negotiation, and management of software-related contracts and vendors across the organization. This role will focus exclusively on software procurement, including SaaS, enterprise licensing, renewals, and negotiations. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of software licensing models, vendor ecosystems, and contract structures, and will work closely with stakeholders in S&T, Legal, Finance, and Security.

Key Responsibilities:• Execute sourcing strategies for software categories including SaaS, on-premise licenses, subscriptions, and enterprise agreements.• Lead RFPs, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiations for software purchases and renewals.• Partner with S&T business partners to understand software requirements and ensure alignment with strategic goals.• Drive the sourcing process, Master Services Agreements, Statement of Work development, Order Forms and analyze/evaluate rates to optimize supplier engagements.• Manage software vendor relationships and performance, including SLAs and KPIs.• Support software asset management and ensure compliance with licensing terms.• Track contract lifecycles, renewal dates, and cost optimization opportunities.• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in sourcing platforms (e.g., Selectica, Docusign).• Monitor market trends and pricing benchmarks to inform negotiation strategies.• Deliver annual AOP productivity targets for the assigned area.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience

Qualifications:• 4-5 years’ work experience in Technology Procurement (with a focus on software sourcing) Consulting, Finance, Transformation.• Strong understanding of software licensing models (e.g., per-user, per-device, subscription, perpetual).• Experience negotiating with major software vendors.• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.• Familiarity with contract law and software compliance requirements.• Proficiency in procurement systems and tools.• Works well with others to deliver results. Treats all people with respect and fairness, open is to and respectful of others’ opinions and points of view.• Takes the initiative to find ways to get better results, seeks and takes advantage of ideas, best practices and solutions.• Won’t compromise values to get results.

Preferred Skills:• Direct experience with procurement of technology, use of Enterprise software tools and Hardware/Telecom is a plus.• Experience with SaaS portfolio management and cloud-based software procurement.• Knowledge of AI tools and practices.• Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).
