ResponsibilitiesJob Overview: The candidate will be senior to all artisans on site, providing assistance and specialized technical support. The role includes document creation, installation and repairs and expertise in fault finding and execution.
Installation and configuration:
- Install and configure electrical and automation systems, including industrial PCs, PLCs, and HMIs.
Maintenance and repair:
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on automated equipment to ensure uptime and efficiency.
Troubleshooting and debugging:
- Identify and resolve faults in automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotic systems.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain technical documentation, such as schematics, control panel designs, and calibration procedures.
Technical support:
- Provide support to production teams on the operation and maintenance of automated equipment.
System improvement:
- Collaborate with engineers to identify and implement improvements to processes and systems.
Key skills and qualifications
Technical proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, variable speed drives (VSDs), and other industrial control components.
Electrical and mechanical skills:
- A strong electrical background is essential, including the ability to read and create schematics and P&ID drawings.
Programming:
- Proficiency in programming and operating automation software, including standard PLC programming languages.
Problem-solving:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and fix complex system issues.
Communication:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting and working with different teams.
