This role is to manage the delivery of all formula documentation in current specification system (FSS), with some responsibilities in the upcoming PLM system. We are looking for a leader who will ensure the support needed for product launches and brand maintenance. The role also includes much troubleshooting and system improvement implementation. A very strong working knowledge of Product Vision is required.
Responsibilities- Leadership role in delivering documentation governance and oversight
- Support the global beverage work plan by leading FSS Oversight for all beverage documentation
- Lead projects for Technical Brand Stewardship team that are documentation focused
- Recommend and deliver rules for the documentation system that promote “Right First Time” status for formulas
- Identify and implement solutions for property mapping within formulas.
- Review and approve formulas to ensure accuracy and conformance.
- Manage cross-functional relationships with partners, including PGCS and other R&D functions.
- Facilitate meetings with key system users.
- Troubleshoot issues with routing formulas for approval
- Identify opportunities for system improvements to allow for efficiency; Submit Change Requests to allow continuous improvement for our specs system.
- Conduct UAT testing for impending system improvements.
- Understand and train others on calculations and other dependencies within the specification system
- Mentor talent to ensure tasks, processes and projects are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.

Education & Experience:Required:
- Food scientist (or related field) with 7+ years food and beverage industry experience
- A proven track record in product development
- Experience in writing and approving formula specifications.
- Outstanding teamwork, communication and leadership skills
- Strong documentation systems capability
- Demonstrated competency in understanding ingredient functionality
- Lead and influence project teams
Other Job Requirements:
- This position will require flexibility in working hours to accommodate meetings in international time zones that may extend past typical working hours.
- Field Travel may be required (domestic & international). Estimated 5%.
- Commuting distance from Valhalla, NY (onsite 4 days per week)
