The Opportunity

Your Impact

We are seeking a strategic sourcing professional to manage vendor relationships and optimize IT procurement processes. In this role, you will lead contract negotiations for services, software, and equipment, oversee the full contract lifecycle, and conduct competitive sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs). You will analyze financial proposals to recommend best-value solutions, collaborate with IT, Legal, and Finance teams, and ensure compliance with company policies and risk standards. The position also focuses on driving process efficiencies, implementing industry best practices, and supporting diversity initiatives by increasing spend with MWBE suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage vendor relationship with strategic partners to drive productivity and efficiency across different IT towers, programs and projects.

  • Lead negotiation of multiple types of sourcing agreements, including Letters of Authorization (LOAs), Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreements (CNDAs), Master Service Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOWs), services, software and equipment purchases, etc.

  • Create financial analysis of deal offerings, identifying advantages and disadvantages of offering vs. other competitive offerings as well as the incumbent service. Formulate recommendation based upon identifiable quantitative and qualitative factors.

  • Manage the complete contract lifecycle from negotiation, initial drafting, Business, Legal and other stakeholder approval, execution, and ongoing compliance.

  • Participate with cross-divisional business teams including Global and Divisional IT teams, Legal, and Finance in the successful implementation of strategies, contract negotiations/execution, and project planning.

  • Conduct RFP, RFQ, RFI, competitive bids, maintenance renewals, and miscellaneous projects for IT Stakeholders.

  • Drive process efficiencies and eliminate waste.

  • Ensure use of PepsiCo’s policies as well as terms and conditions to ensure best in class economics and minimized risk.

  • Research and implement industry best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to increase spend with MWBE suppliers; enlist suppliers for second tier spend reporting.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years’ work experience in Procurement, Finance, or IT, with a history of success in a breadth of prior challenging experiences
  • Ideally, experience with various procurement tools (Bravo, Selectica/Determine, DocuSign, ARIBA, TBM Apptio, Fieldglass).
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Won’t compromise values to get results.
  • Eager to embrace and lead change, ability to manage in PepsiCo’s ambiguous matrixed environment.
  • Can persevere and is resilient in the pursuit of objectives, willing to take on new challenges; and works to resolve tough issues.
