Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for efficiently operating and troubleshooting various pieces of production equipment, on all production lines, in a safe manner. A strong focus on housekeeping and product quality is required.

Qualifications

Basic computer skills. Some data entry may be required.
Strong mathematical skills
Must be able to read and write English as there is a strong possibility of injury to self or others due to nature of work
Ability to work shift work (evenings/afternoons/weekends) on 8hr as well as well as 12hr rolling schedule
Previous Manufacturing (Production/Quality) experience preferred
Forklift experience, preference will be given to individuals with a Forklift Certificate
Problem-solving skills along with the ability to troubleshoot machine problems and make adjustments as necessary
Team player who shows initiative, reliability and flexibility
Other duties as assigned

Major Physical Demands

Frequently lifting/carrying a maximum of 50 lbs
Occasionally pushing/pulling/lifting a maximum of 100 lbs. (with the aid of a mechanical device)
Frequent bending and reaching above the shoulder
