The Customs and Trades Coordinator will be assigned to manage, analyze, and plan customs-related activities to ensure compliance with regulations, cost efficiency, and smooth import/export operations while supporting business planning and decision-making.
ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be responsible for:
- Analyze import and export transactions to ensure compliance with local and international customs regulations.
- Prepare, review, and validate customs documentation (HS code, customs value, COO, permits, licenses, etc.).
- Monitor customs duty, tax, and incentive utilization (FTA, bonded zone, duty exemption, etc.).
- Support customs planning and forecasting, including volume, cost, and duty impact analysis, for import and export
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Finance, Tax, Procurement) and external parties (customs brokers, authorities).
- Identify risks and propose improvements to customs processes, controls, and cost optimization.
- Track regulatory changes and assess business impact, ensuring timely implementation.
- Support intercompany and cross-border transaction reviews related to customs compliance.
- Maintain accurate customs data and reporting for management review
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in customs, import/export, or trade compliance.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, HS classification, valuation, and trade agreements.
- Experience working with customs systems and ERP (SAP preferred)
- Experience with INSW , CIESA, E-Bpom system
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work cross-functionally.
