Role Overview

The PO & Vendor Management analyst’s primary role is to ensure exceptional operational services are provided to the teams they are supporting in both BUs and Category teams. These services include contacting vendors & aligning on costs by project, managing the PO and invoice work flow associated with specific brand A&M budgets, maintaining weekly reporting, and conducting periodic check in’s with Marketing teams which they are supporting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform quality checks on purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy and compliance;
  • Maintain and update category cards to support strategic sourcing activities;
  • Manage the PR2PO process within the myBUY and ServiceNow platforms;
  • Ensure full compliance with PepsiCo policies through rigorous quality, contract, and compliance review;
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive enhancements across procurement processes;
  • Contact vendors for respective projects; & align on costs associated with services provided;
  • Request, review and maintain files related to final estimates from vendors;
  • Collaborate with Control’s budget coordinators to process estimates & generate PO’s;
  • Manage tracking of completed estimates and POS’s; accounting for remaining balances, needed estimates, open purchase orders, and prompt pays, etc;
  • Complete adhoc analysis of cost buckets across brands to identify efficiency opportunities for future planning purposes;
  • Approval Matrix Update
Qualifications
  • A junior level analytics professional with experience in a leading consumer goods company in Finance or similar 1+ years experience;
  • Education: BBA in economics, math, statistics, marketing or management;
  • Efficient with Excel and Power Point programs;
  • Developed written and oral communication skills; able to communicate using appropriate methods for situation and audience in clear, concise and professional manner;
  • Be flexible, organized and able to handle competing priorities;
  • Ability to provide high level customer service
  • Spanish language - nice to have.
