ResponsibilitiesThe Opportunity
This role with Data and AI team is to contribute to build data products and building strong data foundation. This role requires active participation in data discovery, assessments and analysis of the data for handling different data needs for across PepsiCo Frito-Lay North America.
Your Impact
As Sector IT Sr Analyst your responsibilities would consist of:
- Data Modeling: Develop and implement predictive and prescriptive models to support business decision-making. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis process.
- Design and implement data infrastructure and processing workflows required to support data science, machine learning, BI and reporting
- Design and develop real time streaming and batch processing pipeline solutions
- Own the data expertise and data quality for the pipelines
- Clean and prepare data for use in advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning projects
- Build analysis in Python with accompanying documentation
- Communicate effectively with business to understand business needs and translate to requirements.
- Lead design, code & process review sessions to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and performance guidelines.
¿Who Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor’s /Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years + of Power-BI and Python experience.
- Strong experience in Power BI (Backend/Frontend) to develop compelling reports and dashboards
- Experience in Databricks and Python/PySpark is a must – Should be able to perform an ETL transformation of a large-scale datasets and combine different data sources.
- Experience with multiple data technologies and concepts such as SQL, NoSQL, Airflow, Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, MapReduce and Columnar databases (Good to have).
- 2+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
