Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Be the subject matter expert for the Food business for the Uy/Py. The Regulatory Specialist is responsible for the regulatory compliance of all products, considering government requirements and PepsiCo policies. This includes ingredient compliance, formula compliance, registers, label and communications approval, and working with governments, external Agencies and other partners to enable PepsiCo agendas and ensure regulatory compliance.

Your Impact

• Provide technical and regulatory inputs during the Technical Stage Gate process, aiming for the best solutions and defining the best path towards the strategic direction.• Approves ingredients, formulas, and packaging material for all the Foods innitiatives• Support labeling and regulatory information for product development and marketing initiatives, being responsible for:o ensuring the accuracy of the regulatory information in the final artwork for multiple brands o ensuring the accuracy and compliance of ingredient statements, nutrition facts, allergen declarations and claimso interacting with many other functions, including but not limited to R&D, Marketing, PPGA, Purchasing, and Legal• Coordinate requirements for import/export processes.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

1. Expertise in local regulations 2. Effective communication and influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders (Pep leadership, marketing, government and trade associations) 3. A college degree in technical discipline (nutrition, food degree, chemical degree)

4. Communication skills in English (written/verbal)
