We are looking for a Quality Supervisor to join our team in İzmir Plant. Role will be responsible for syrup room operation and microbiology laboratory and will lead the operator team in syrup room.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the raw materials, concentrates, syrup and final product complies with the food safety and PepsiCo’s requirements, prompt corrective/preventive action management ability for determined risks.
  • Take active role during the food safety&quality audits from 3rd parties and legal authorities.
  • Ensure syrup room and CIP process steps complies with PepsiCo and legal requirements, control and sustain the quality checks are in place in accordance with the quality plans.
  • Ensure the equipment and machines are properly maintained in syrup room area.
  • Identify, control, and plan the calibration/ verification plan to ensure the equipments are calibrated,
  • Participate and take active role for the first formula productions realized according to PepsiCo requirements.
  • Prepare cleaning and sanitation plans and ensure the plans are implemented at related areas in accordance with PepsiCo and GMP requirements.
  • Participate, lead and sustain the productivity projects.
  • Ensure, control and sustain the integrated management system is in place.
  • Ensure GEHSMS and ISO 14001 requirements are fully applied in syrup room and implemented and follow up by syrup room team,
  • Plan the shifts of the Quality team and follow up the performance.
  • Ensure the waste management is in place in accordance with the environmental system and legal regulations and inform EHS Manager in a case of unconformity.
  • Ensure the hygiene management and HACCP principles implemented at site.
  • Plan and give annual refreshment food safety and quality related trainings and orientation to related employees.
  • Implement PepsiCo’s business ethics and discipline.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant industries (preferably 1–2 years in the beverage industry)

  • Experience in food safety and quality certification systems

  • Fluency in English and Turkish

  • Ability to create and foster an inclusive work environment

  • Proven experience in team leadership

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to coordinate and organize design projects and personnel

  • Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
