Overview

This position will cover the downtown area and will be based out of Chicago 35th St.

The Food Service Sales Representative for Local Restaurants will execute a selling strategy to win local restaurant business, while supporting and growing existing business. A successful candidate will manage key customer relationships including customer agreements that deliver against PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA) operating plans and partnership expectations, as well as deliver against new restaurant business targets. Customers for this segment are focused on supporting restaurants, growing brand distribution, and delivering exceptional customer support.

Responsibilities
  • Win New Local Restaurant Business within designated territory and grow Independent Restaurant share
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Restaurant customers and drive customer satisfaction through superior service and execution including contract renewals
  • Leverage technology to plan and support selling efforts
  • Maximize volume and revenue in assigned accounts (base customers and new partnerships) utilizing fact-based selling methods
  • Execution of Contract/Customer Development Agreements including Trade Payment Management and contract compliance
  • Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
  • Work closely with the PBNA location’s selling operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Optimize beverages per PBNA guidelines
  • Responsible for coordinating fountain, bottle and can-revenue growth.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,700 - $103,900.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out quarterly.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of fact-based selling experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Food Service or consumer packaged goods experience preferred
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel & Power point skills
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Critical Experiences Preferred: Functional – Sales; Developing Others – People Leadership
