ResponsibilitiesWe're looking for an Organizational Change Manager to join our team. The Change Manager plays a vital role in ensuring effective and sustainable implementations for initiatives that have a high complexity and cross functional impact. They are responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing changes to achieve goals while minimizing disruptions. They collaborate with stakeholders, assess impacts, and develop strategies for successful implementation.
Accountabilities:
- Works as a project team member and leads the change management work stream for the initiative
- Plans, implements, and oversees changes of initiative to achieve goals while minimizing disruptions
- Collaborates with stakeholders, assesses impacts, and develops strategies for successful implementation
- Leverages change management methodology, tools and training to provide effective execution and support to business leaders
- Builds change management capability through ongoing coaching and enablement of business leaders and initiative owners
Specific deliverables for the high complexity initiatives that have a cross functional impact include:
- Case for Change: Compile a compelling change narrative that inspires people to strive together to create that future.
- Leadership Alignment: Engage and align with leaders to ensure that they understand the business value of the change, the impact on line managers and employees, and actively play the role of change leaders to drive adoption in their business areas
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Develop an engagement strategy for relevant stakeholders and impacted audiences and execute a plan to drive awareness through to understanding and adoption.
- Change Impact assessments + mitigation: Identify the changes that are brought about by the initiative, determine the resulting impacts and address the impacts and associated risks in a structured manner.
- Change Network: Connect a network of Change Agents to drive and manage the change impacts identified.
- Training: Co-ordinate the delivery of training in order to equip users with sufficient skills and knowledge to be successful once the changes have gone live, and to ensure the sustainability of the implementation.
- Change Readiness: Define the KPIs that determine the willingness and ability of people to transition to the new state, measure, monitor and take actions to ensure readiness
- Measuring Results: Define the desired business enablement and key performance indicators to be measured and managed after go-live. Analyze and identify trends, patterns and root causes affecting adoption.
- Extract meaningful insights from data to inform decision-making and planning. Develop clear, actionable plans based on insights.
- Five years of experience in the field of Change Management, Communications, and / or project management
- Transformation or IT implementation experience is a bonus
- Project experience required
- Bachelor's of Science or equivalent in a Communications, Marketing, Business Management/Administration, Consulting or a related field
- Strong experience of delivering organisational change management activities across multiple business units
- Ability to manage Stakeholder Owners to ensure full leadership support
- Strong communication development and delivery skills (PPT, video, writing, live presentation)
- Consultative skills on change management efforts
- Sees the bigger picture, able to look ahead to anticipate and address issues
- Strong problem solving, facilitation and relationship skills
- Internal consulting skills underpinned by strong analytical capabilities
- Ability to navigate in the matrix, getting objectives achieved through others
