Job Overview:

Support the site in delivering efficient and effective maintenance, cleaning and storage and distribution services.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the maintenance services to ensure maintenance is delivered on time and effectively including preventative maintenance, breakdown maintenance and planned stoppage maintenance.
  • Review and improve maintenance services provided by external parties to ensure delivery of services meets the needs of Quaker Oats
  • Develop maintenance strategies for critical items
  • Execute scheduled maintenance programs to ensure sound physical condition of company assets.
  • Manage boiler and compressed air within company and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical preferred)
  • Supervisory experience with frontline personnel at least 10 years post graduation work experience
  • Must have experience working in an environment where a systematic approach is taken to development and maintenance of processes
  • Ability to prepare reports and documentation to meet site and audit requirements
  • Ability to map out critical paths and analyse data to improve performance
  • Continuous improvement and troubleshooting methodology experience
  • Rapport building to achieve goals
  • Understand and comply with the requirements of the HACCP Food Safety Program
  • Excellent analytical and organisation skills, and able to plan and set priorities to tasks in order to meet schedules and allocated tasks.
