The Trade Marketing Manager for the Potato Chips Category will be responsible for developing and executing strategic trademarketing plans to maximize sales and market share within the assigned category.
This role requires a deep understanding of the retail landscape, consumer behavior, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive results.
Responsibilities1. Strategy Development:- Collaborate with the Category Director to define and execute annual trade marketing plans for the potato chips category.- Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase brand awareness, drive sales, and enhance shelf presence.- Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and adjust strategies accordingly.
2. Promotional Execution:- Oversee the development and execution of promotional materials, including POS displays, in-store signage, and digital marketing assets.- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure effective implementation of promotional campaigns and track results.- Analyze post-promotion performance to measure effectiveness and provide insights for future campaigns.
3. Budget Management:- Manage trade marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.- Prepare and present budget forecasts, monthly reports, and analysis of trade spending effectiveness to senior management.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:- Work closely with the sales, marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive category growth and innovation.
Qualifications-Minimum 10 years working experience in marketing or trade marketing or sales in multi-national company, experience in food and beverage industry is preferred -Strong analytical, strategic and logical thinking skills-Strong leadership, esp. lead cross functional work.
