Responsibilities

The Opportunity

As a Material Planning Manager (MRP Lead), you will lead the end-to-end material planning process to ensure uninterrupted supply for production, while strategically balancing inventory levels, costs, and service.

This role plays a critical part in driving supply chain performance by orchestrating cross-functional teams and influencing key stakeholders across the organization, including international partners and senior leadership.

Your Impact

As a Material Planning Manager (MRP Lead) your scope would consist of:

  • Lead the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process for raw and packaging materials, ensuring alignment with production and demand plans.
  • Drive strategic decisions to balance inventory levels, service, costs, and write-offs, optimizing overall supply chain performance.
  • Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders (Procurement, Warehousing, Production, Finance, and Suppliers) to ensure a constraint-free and executable plan.
  • Build strong partnerships with suppliers, ensuring performance, capacity alignment, and adherence to the material plan.
  • Monitor and drive key KPIs such as Supplier OTIF, inventory policies, and DII, defining action plans to close gaps.
  • Lead the development and execution of short-term strategies and contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply.
  • Provide clear and structured communication to senior leadership (VP level), enabling informed decision-making.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of planners, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders (e.g., Ireland) to ensure alignment and effective execution across regions.
Qualifications

¿Who Are We Looking For?

  • 6–8 years of experience in Material Planning / MRP, managing high-volume and complex material portfolios, with proven ability to balance supply, inventory, and service levels.
  • Strong experience in Supply Chain, with solid exposure to cross-functional collaboration (Procurement, Production, Warehousing, and Suppliers).
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing diverse talent.
  • Experience in FMCG, food & beverage, or raw material planning for food production environments
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP (MRP)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Upper-intermediate to advanced English (required for interaction with international stakeholders).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related fields.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
