Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Global Capability Centers (GCCs) are a key strategic global initiative aimed to make the company Faster, Stronger, Better via simplification and standardization. GCC for Supply Chain is looking to transform business processes, and bring improved processes by taking duplicative tasks currently undertaken in separate Business Units into a series of centralized GCC locations around the world. GCC will remove duplication, increase consistency, build critical capabilities and speed up decision making, all of which will free up resources and funds to reinvest in our brands, helping local teams accelerate growth.

This role is critical to support Supply Chain (SC) LatAm transformation through design and executing smooth transition of SC activities to GCC.

Current priorities

• “Run to standard” transformation phase - Creating and managing the governance of deliverables and “conditions for go”• Utilizing relationships and governance forums to overcome obstacles to “Conditions for go” criteria• Rollout plan alignment across Operating Units (OUs) and SC team stakeholder groups• Alignment on “Conditions to Go” and actions to meet same• Transition preparation across OU, GCC and Supply Chain team stakeholders• Digital factory reporting and analytics scope finalization and Implementation• Risk mitigation plan development & implementation• Governance forum creation & management

Your Impact

As Supply Chain Design Director your scope would consist of

1. Lead overall transition management of Supply Chain processes for multiple OU’s to GCC through flawless execution of Design & Transition playbooks. Build project deliverables in partnership with GCC SC Leads and senior SC stakeholders. Collaborate with hub management to ensure transition execution excellence and effective sustain models for ongoing service. Ensure Governance process for transition is executed flawlessly with connectivity into the OU, Sector Supply Chain team, GCC and sector PMO. Partner C&C lead to ensure effective SC plan. Ensure best practice and standards are applied and learnings are captured to enhance future events.

2. Leverage existing Design to challenge complexity, drive process simplification, deliver compression and expand the playbook to bring more activities into GCC. Build value propositions for OUs through positive communication and proof of concept opportunities. Collaborate with other Sectors on SC Center of Excellence (CoE) activities to build capabilities and implement opportunities, sharing DTPs and best practices. Resolve process issues arising during the design phase, including assessing third party tools to facilitate discussions.

3. Deliver SC GCC service excellence and flexibility. Leverage best practice OLA/SLA development and KPIs to stand up supply chain activities in GCC and implement an in-hub service setting with local stakeholders to guarantee success of ongoing business. Establish effective performance reviews to ensure service excellence post-hypercare and deliver targeted GCC, end-user and VOB satisfaction levels.

4. Support step change engagement for GCC across Latam by embedding One-PepsiCo thinking and PepsiCo WoW between Sector, Global and Business, to doing GCC the right way.

5. Partner Global design & transition leads to drive consistency of process, sharing best practice and expansion of SC Catalogue. Ensure Lessons Learned from previous supply chain and other functions transitions are built into subsequent waves.

6. Lead execution of change management and communication activities, working with Change Management to ensure clear communications.

7. Connect with GCC SC team governance processes ensuring SC activities align with balance of Supply Chain GCC related change.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

1. Masters Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain with 10+ years relevant SC experience. Strong knowledge base on SC activities, preferably FMCG knowledge, with thorough understanding of SC metrics2. Deep knowledge of the Latam Supply Chain Business – operational experience at Business Unit (BU) & Sector level 3. Excellent Project Management skills. Experience of scaled change management at sector level, working with multiple stakeholders and cultures is essential. Process driven approach is critical with strong and established analytical and problem solving skills. Ability deliver robust information to tight deadlines4. Strong engagement skills, honed through execution of multi-sector transformation initiatives requiring executive, SME and end-user buy-in5. Excellent networking skills, demonstrated collaboration experience with BU, sector and global groups. Strong interpersonal skills to build and sustain a vast range of working relationships across multiple functions, cultures and ability to flex styles for effective influencing6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including awareness of cultural differences in the division) for effective communication. Ability to simplify complex information into useable content. Comfort communicating with multiple levels of the organisation as required7. Demonstrated ability to operate within a matrix and with high levels of ambiguity. Working within a complex, fluid cross-functional environment managing significant amounts of change8. High maturity level to deal with very confidential information
