- Provide safety and environmental leadership for HSE team, Tbilisi Make and Move teams.
- Implement and maintain all processes related to health&safety, fire safety, civil defense, and personal safety at Tbilisi site.
- Ensure all facilities are compliant with legal requirements and corporate standards.
- Provide broad and deep subject matter expertise for health and safety (HSE), including fire safety and civil defense.
- Develop, maintain, and lead deployment of corporate HSE polices, best practices, and tools.
- Build HSE Capability throughout country in HSE.
- Implement GEHSMS (Global Environmental, Health and Safety Management System in PepsiCo)\Global TOP risks program.
- Insure implementation of relevant GHSEMS standards in Move and Sales operations.
- Maintain aspects of HSE framework, assuring that it remains integrated with corporate expectations.
- Provide guidance and tools, including training materials, to support implementation of HSE policies.
- Regulatory Tracking and Influence.
- Monitor new HSE trends in legislation and global policy and develop programs in response.
- Establish and realize HSE risk assessment program and monitor and report on results.
- Assist Tbilisi make and move teams in conducting a root cause analysis following a significant incident or compliance failure.
- Lead preparation for internal and external GEHSMS and ISO 14001:2015, 45001:2018 audits on site.
- Search and implement best EHS practices.
- Scorecard audit report findings.
- Performance Management and Reporting.
- Establish HSE key performance indicators and performance objectives and targets in coordination line manager, E2E Leads, Sales and Non-Manufacturing Leads.
- Develop and implement key processes for the capturing of required data points in support of Sector HSE metrics and other corporate HSE data system modules.
- Develop regular performance reports for internal management.
- Work collaboratively with sector/BU contacts and other HSE leads to troubleshoot and address HSE-related performance issues.
- Participate selectively and strategically in key external events as the HSE representative.
- Participate in major decisions potentially impacting safety including major CAPEX approvals.
- Promote a positive HSE culture through general awareness communications and related initiatives.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to remote leads to help build field capability.
- Develop presentations for senior management and other key stakeholders to effectively influence decision making and gain support and 'buy-in' for HSE initiatives.
- Ensure HSE projects implementation on time and in full.
- Higher education, degree in the relevant field. Any additional certificates a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE / People / Project management with proven team leader experience.
- Ability to manage sensitive issues and work for win-win situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Licenses / diplomas in line with State requirements for the job.
- Thorough knowledge of legal issues and environmental standards is essential.
- Fluency in Georgian, English on B2+ level
- Demonstrated skills in managing people and projects.
- Computer skills: MS Office, AutoCAD and other suitable software.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality, and trust.
