PepsiCo, the industry leader in Snacks and Beverages, has an opening for a Fleet Service Specialist to provide leadership and tactical execution of the fleet operations including but not limited to the coordination of vendor maintenance repairs, breakdown resolution, and record management to help the Fleet Team reach its World Class Goals. The PepsiCo fleet is one of the top ten largest private fleets with equipment ranging from Light Duty and material handling equipment to Heavy Duty tractors and trailers. The nature of the work is proactive and must be able to alert key stakeholders quickly. Key partnerships with sales, warehouse, transport, and MEM teams are critical to provide high level of fleet service. This role is responsible for securing vendor maintenance and repair on company owned assets, manage warranty/campaign work orders, coordinate the rental process, while managing communication and cost tradeoffs.
Responsibilities- Coordination of vendor maintenance on company owned assets including MHE, light duty, medium duty, and heavy duty equipment
- Lead the Pre-Approval process of all outside vendor repairs in accordance with the Asset Life Cycle protocols
- Partners with and supports fleet technician and fleet managers in maintaining a reliable, safe fleet according to PepsiCo standards
- Resolution of breakdowns including the coordination of the repair and communication to key stakeholders
- Align with fleet and key stakeholders for rental needs and coordinate rentals process
- Accounts Payable compliance in accordance with SAG/SOX guidelines
- Proactive delivery tracking and customer alerts for known anticipated vendor performance gaps
- Establish and maintain vendor partnerships to ensure quality and reliable work
- Resolve any customer or vendor inquiries in a professional and efficient manner
- Collaborate and maintain high levels of communication with all stakeholders (Logistics, Sales, Warehouse, Fleet)
- Communicate repairs to key stakeholders and records maintenance record in maintenance management system
- Maintain various Fleet performance tracking documents including but not limited to PM Report, Weekly Cost Management Report, Vendor Pricing List.
- Identifies trends and recommends corrective action measures when needed
- Additional duties as assigned by Manager
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $54,700 - $82,050.

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fleet / transportation / logistics role, with vendor coordination or fleet mechanic experience
- Manage communications through phone, email, fax, mail, etc.
- Advanced/Proficient Computer Skills (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel) and maintenance management system
- Strong passion for customer service and fleet excellence
- Ability to effectively interact and build a favorable business relationships with field fleet teams, operations teams, and other key stakeholders
- Strong team player and committed to teamwork in all situations
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to leveraging system and tools
- Must have good interpersonal skills in order to interact/contribute to team and communicate with others in a professional manner.
