Overview

The Shopper Marketing Senior Associate plays a key role in translating brand strategy into impactful in‑store shopper activations. Operating at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, and Category, this role ensures that brands show up with maximum visibility, relevance, and conversion across Organised Trade Channel.

The position requires strong analytical thinking, creativity, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver programs that drive incremental sales, penetration, and category growth

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate insights into clear opportunity spaces for brands and customers
  • Monitor category trends, competitive activity, and retailer dynamics to guide planning
  • Develop annual and quarterly shopper marketing plans aligned with brand priorities and customer strategies
  • Lead the creation of in‑store and digital activations (POSM, secondary placements, sampling & e-sampling, in store events)
  • Ensure flawless execution through close collaboration with Sales, marketing and external partners
  • Present activation concepts, performance results, and category insights to customer teams
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, identifying learnings and optimization opportunities
  • Brief and manage agencies to deliver high‑quality shopper materials
  • Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and shopper communication principles
  • Partner with Brand, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Category teams to ensure alignment and execution readiness
  • Support innovation launches with shopper‑centric activation plans
  • Contribute to internal capability building on shopper marketing best practices
  • Manage shopper marketing budgets with accuracy and accountability.
  • Track spending, forecast needs, and ensure efficient allocation across customers and initiatives
