Job Overview:
Lead the Revenue Growth Management ("RGM") strategy for the Pepsico Australia and New Zealand Snacks Business, a leading manufacturer in the Snacking & Dips categories. Develop and drive short term and long-term net revenue realisation through Price Pack Architecture, Mix Management, Innovation Pricing Strategy, and Promotional Management. You will lead a team of RGM managers and analysts in Australia and New Zealand who contribute to overarching PepsiCo financial targets, market share goals, customer agendas, and brand strategies.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of our 3-5 year RGM strategy to drive positive Net Revenue realisation across RGM levers, including Pack Price Architecture, Mix Management, Innovation planning and Promotional Management
- Lead a team of Australia and NZ based RGM Managers and Analysts as they partner across the business to implement the RGM strategy within the ANZ market.
- Engage Executive and business leadership teams in Finance, Commercial Strategy, Sales and Marketing across business forums to imbed RGM agenda into Annual Planning and Long Term planning horizons
- Ensure RGM strategies are delivering business targets across Net Revenue Growth, Share Performance and Profitability, and work cross functionally with agility to address changing market dynamics
- Track and report RGM outcomes & timely competitive pricing dynamics to internal stakeholders and ensure learnings are captured to inform future strategy.
- Elevate ANZ agenda to Global RGM teams. leveraging best practice sharing locally and supporting abroad
- Integrate future technology unlocks into local RGM ways of working, and harness the best of Pepsico global tools in descriptive and predictive analytics to improve efficiencies and identify areas of opportunity
- Develop talent within the RGM team, finance and commercial strategy organisations to broaden RGN thinking across the business and build best in class future talent bench.
- Degree qualified in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field
- Minimum 10years experience in relevant roles (Finance, Sales, Category or Strategy) in Consumer Goods, Consulting, or Retail, with minimum 4 yrs directly in revenue management, pricing or value strategy roles
- Proven experience working in fast paced, cross-functional and matrix environments.
- High familiarity with the Australian retail environment and the leading retailers within the Australian and New Zealand grocery and convenience markets.
- Knowledge of trade pricing, retailer margin structures, promotional effectiveness/ROI methods within the Australian FMCG market.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills & ability to communicate proposals to senior leadership
- Strong analytical thinking capability and ability to pro-actively challenge the ‘status quo’
- Comfortable engaging with strategic channel partners and retail customers to drive Pepsico’s RGM agenda.
