Overview

The Commercial Finance Analyst acts as a business partner to the Sales and Commercial team by providing financial reporting, analysis, and insights related to sales performance, pricing, and profitability. The role contributes to business decision-making by delivering reliable analysis and supporting the planning and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in monthly closing by preparing relevant commercial finance reports.
  • Monitor performance versus Budget and Forecast and provide variance analysis.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Analyze sales, discounts, and profitability by customer, product, and channel.
  • Prepare customer profitability and margin analysis.
  • Support business cases and ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Work closely with Sales teams to provide financial insights.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data in reports and systems.
  • Contribute to the improvement and automation of reports and processes.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or Commercial Finance
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and/or BI tools (e.g., Power BI) will be considered an asset
  • Strong analytical mindset and curiosity to understand business drivers
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with non-finance stakeholders
  • Fluent in Greek and English
