The position: The job holder is part of the eCommerce eGrocery team for Belgium and the Marketplaces team for the Netherlands. The role is responsible for the online Commercial Plans, Customer Strategy, and Growth Acceleration of our online business at the Organised Trade eGrocery Retail Accounts in Belgium (Colruyt, Delhaize, Carrefour) and for embedding and accelerating Marketplace partners Bol.com and Amazon within the organization. The job holder identifies new opportunities, builds internal capability, and drives the execution of both short‑ and long‑term customer and partner development initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage strategic eCommerce partnerships with key omnichannel retailers in Belgium and marketplace customers in the Netherlands, delivering revenue, volume, and market share targets.
  • Build, negotiate, and execute Joint Business Plans, including assortment, promotions, activations, and online-only strategies to ensure strong digital visibility and commercial performance.
  • Lead day-to-day customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities and supporting expansion across e-Grocery and marketplace channels.
  • Define and implement the marketplaces strategy, including onboarding new sub-channels and establishing data, reporting, and performance tracking frameworks.
  • Drive “always-on” demand generation in collaboration with Retail Media Networks, ensuring effective planning, execution, and optimization.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (e.g., revenue, share, growth), translating insights into actionable plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Optimize the digital shelf and end-to-end customer journey to deliver best-in-class eCommerce execution across campaigns, launches, and promotions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and act as a digital champion within the organization to enable integrated omnichannel execution and strong business results.
Qualifications
  • Masters Degree
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (English and Dutch)
  • >5 years of commercial experience of which >2 in the field of eCommerce.
  • Solid digital trading experience, understanding the commercial levers that drive performance
  • Being able to partner internally and externally. Experience in managing customer relationships
  • Entrepreneurial: sees trends and opportunities. Thinks outside of existing routes and limitations
  • Strong analytical and influencing skills
  • Experience with platforms and systems (e.g. digital shelf monitoring, power BI)
