Overview - The position will take care of the lab’s Quality control, FG and RM approvals, lab documentations, proficiency, productivity, complainces on GLP, Continual improvements.
- The Position is a key role in concentrate operations at site.
- The position is vital in review and implement the Product Quality testings, approavls and executing the policies and guidelines issued from SC.
Responsibilities - Overall responsible for lab operations, including testings as per aligned TAT, approvals and documentation part.
- To maintain 100 % compliance to all QPP, TM, SOP, IS and GLP requirements related to concentrate lab.
- Ensure analysis of concentrate as per required and specified quality standards & Monitor quality KPI s like Caffeine, TA, and RFT.
- To co-ordinate with production, stores & planning to ensure smooth functioning of activities in the plant.
- Ensure and maintain lab hygiene, housekeeping, sanitation and GLP standards.
- To ensure implementation of all Quality procedures and SOP s issued from the SC Quality Group.
- Support on compliance to local regulations for Quality & Food Safety.
- Ensure orientation on Product Quality and compliances for all new joiners at the site.
- Ensure 100% RFT for new product through right documentations, label and testing.
- Support and coordinate on New RM Vendor developments and qualification process.
- Ensure the compliance of AOP, PTRs and Capex plans for Quality Department.
- Provide quality & food safety consultative support to Plant Manufacuring & supply chain.
- Lead the Monthly Quality system Meet with Plant senior leadership team.
- Ensure all Food Safety and GMP trainings on the site including Food Safety Team.
- Responsible for Change control
- Lead the Quality reseveres Program
- Lead the Non Conformance Programme & Lead site Trackwise
- Backup of Food defence coordinator.
- Liaison with external parties on matters relating to the QC
- Ensure track wise trainings and its usages in Plant and keep updates on any Pending records into it.
- Ensure proficiency compliance for all schemes and timely update the results.
- Support SQA related issue resolutions through procurement.
- Support New equipment commissioning and validations.
- Ensure the compliance of local oil approvals SOPs/process.
- Lead the Plant Chemical control Program.
- Lead and sustain Lab Score Card and Performance monthly tracking.
- Lead the simplification program in laboratory.
- Ensure the compliance of Cleaning & sanitation program and its annually Validation.
- Lead the HAZMAT Lead & ensure its Compliances.
- Ensure Water treatment is operating as per SOP and support team on water project.
- Ensure the Lab Safety Compliances & monthly Audit.
- Lead the 3S in Quality lab.

Qualifications - Minimum PG in Biotech/Chemistry /Food Technology. Sound knowledge of lab and instruments operations is important. Minimum of 5 years in a food manufacturing plant, preferably MNC. Knowledge on various chemical, biological and physical testing and water treatment process.
Knowledge of Quality systems & Techniques, FSSC, Instrumentation, Budgets, GMP & Food Safety audits
