ResponsibilitiesThe Opportunity
This role sits within the newly established Process Excellence & Automation (PE&A) function under PepsiCo’s Strategy & Transformation organization and is responsible for embedding a strong culture of continuous improvement across Requisition to Pay (R2P) operations delivered from the Mexico Capability Centre. The role will lead Lean Six Sigma–based transformation, driving process simplification, standardisation, and operational excellence across the end-to-end R2P value stream. It will focus on improving efficiency, reducing cost to serve, enhancing user experience, and ensuring disciplined continuous improvement governance across all R2P teams in the Mexico Capability Centre. Key responsibilities include leading Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and Design Thinking workshops, while partnering closely with Global Process Owners, Hyper Automation, and Digital teams to deliver scalable and sustainable improvements. This position reports into senior leadership within the Process Excellence & Automation organisation.
Your Impact
As Process Excellence - Manager your scope would consist of …
- Build a Culture of Continuous Improvement
- Lead Lean Six Sigma capability building across R2P operational teams, including foundational, intermediate, and advanced training programs.
- Facilitate CI circles, ideation workshops, and best practice sharing sessions.
- Coach teams and individuals to identify waste, improve process flow, and sustain improvements. Process Diagnosis & Transformation
- Diagnose current-state R2P processes using process mining, Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven analysis.
- Lead simplification and standardisation initiatives across the end-to-end R2P value stream.
- Identify and implement automation and digital solutions, including RPA, BPM, AI, and workflow tools. Portfolio, Governance & Value Realisation
- Own and manage the R2P CI project portfolio, ensuring alignment to business priorities, disciplined execution, and benefits realisation.
- Establish and run CI governance routines to review progress, surface risks, and identify support needs.
- Maintain project charters, benefit trackers, dashboards, and leadership performance reporting. Performance Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Govern process performance through KPIs, SLAs, and process control frameworks.
- Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration to enable seamless execution of CI initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, design sprints, and stakeholder steering committees.
- Support process transitions and stabilisation to ensure sustained performance. Key Success Metrics

Who Are We Looking For?
- 10–15 years of experience driving Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence across Finance & Accounting and Procurement within a global shared services environment (CPG experience preferred).
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong expertise in Requisition to Pay / Procure to Pay processes, controls, and compliance.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional CI programs and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with automation, process and task mining, analytics, and digital workflow solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and change management skills.
