We have a permanent opportunity for a Warehouse Storeperson (Afternoon Shift) to join our team in Wiri. This role involves working independently to handle picking, putaways, damaged goods removal, and receipting finished goods. With a focus on Continuous Improvement, you'll help improve processes to keep the warehouse running efficiently and cost-effectively.

Details for You

  • Location: Wiri
  • Shift: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 02.30pm to 10.30pm
  • Position: Permanent Full Time

Warehouse experience not required as full training will be provided, however we do prefer applicants with tertiary qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • To support Bluebird Warehouse’s Operational activities with Best Practice, that provide Bluebird with a low cost base and service levels and complement the Supply Chain objectives.
  • To work in conjunction with the Shift Manager and Warehouse Despatchers to develop a continuous improvement culture and to improve performance across all three shifts through excellent communication and cooperation.
  • To engage with the other shifts to improve functionally related continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications (preferred).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Mathematical skills - Problem Solving and Critical Thinking
  • The ability to work autonomously.
  • Computer literate – intermediate excel skills.
