The Opportunity

Your Impact

This is a high-visibility, global role within PepsiCo's Mexico Capability Center (MCC) Finance team, supporting the Commodity Risk Management (CRM) function. You will be at the center of validating and confirming commodity buy plans and supplier coverages across a large global spend portfolio spanning categories including grains, vegetable oils, sweeteners, resins, energy, and aluminum.

You will serve as a key point of contact for global and sector teams, drive data quality and performance reporting through the Compass platform, and lead two direct reports while contributing directly to strategic initiatives within the CRM framework.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach a team of 2 analysts, managing workload distribution, providing ongoing feedback, and supporting their professional development.
  • Validate in-month commodity coverage and reconcile supplier confirmations with trade records and the Compass system for global reporting.
  • Review commodity buy plans across multiple playbooks, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Serve as the primary liaison to global and sector teams, delivering data pulls, performance metrics, and ad-hoc analytical support.
  • Provide administrative oversight for the Compass platform, including governance of user access, roles, and back-end updates.
  • Deliver insightful analysis of business results to senior stakeholders and translate findings into clear, decision-enabling recommendations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sector and BU operations leadership, commodity buyers, and IT to drive data analytics workstreams and resolve reporting discrepancies.
  • Identify and integrate new capabilities to enhance existing reporting workflows and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Required qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience; bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related areas.
  • Fluent English
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and data validation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear visual outputs for diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to drive results, and meet tight deadlines across multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to engage effectively with different levels of the organization and develop focused, decision-oriented communications.
  • Collaborative, self-driven, and comfortable navigating a matrixed, multicultural, global environment across time zones.
  • High integrity, accountability, and a technology-forward mindset oriented toward continuous process improvement.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in a Finance, Procurement, or Operations environment within a global company.
  • Familiarity with commodity risk, supply chain finance, or procurement analytics.
  • Experience with Power BI for data analytics and modeling.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop others.
