About the Role
We are looking for an Inventory Optimization Senior Analyst to support advanced inventory modeling and analytics across multiple products and locations. This role focuses on data quality, scenario modeling, and actionable insights to improve inventory performance, service levels, and cost efficiency.
You will work closely with planning teams, business partners, and technology teams, translating complex data into clear recommendations that support smarter supply chain decisions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building models, and influencing decisions through analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Optimization & Scenario Modeling
- Run inventory optimization models and evaluate results across products and locations.
- Perform scenario and what‑if analyses to assess inventory trade‑offs.
- Provide recommendations on inventory parameters and policies based on model outputs.
Data Quality & Master Data Management
- Maintain and update inventory‑related master data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies impacting inventory results.
- Support mass data updates and ongoing data quality reviews.
Analytics, Reporting & Insights
- Monitor key inventory metrics and dashboards to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver weekly inventory performance insights and summaries.
- Analyze demand or forecast changes and assess inventory impact.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Improvement
- Collaborate with planning, supply chain, and technology teams to align data and assumptions.
- Support improvements to inventory tools, models, and reporting capabilities.
- Identify excess inventory or stockout risks and support improvement actions.
Qualifications
Required
- Fluent English. (oral and written skills)
- 3–5 years of experience in Planning, Inventory Management, or End‑to‑End Supply Chain roles.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to navigate complex datasets.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to model scenarios and translate insights into actions.
- Advanced MS Excel (macros, data cleansing, pivots)
- Hands‑on experience with SAP IBP and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Logistics, Data Science, or related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Python and/or automation tools.
- Knowledge of Inventory Optimization (IO) SAP modules.
- Portuguese proficiency.
- Advanced degree (MBA or MS) in Supply Chain, Operations Research, or related field.
