Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Ownership of the financial processes such as Planning/Forecasting, Reporting, Accounting processes, Investment and Productivity tracking and involved in initiative development and execution of Andean region (Colombia, Peru & Ecuador)

This role is part of the S&T Finance LatAm team as well as part of Andean Finance staff, managing a budget of $27.3MM USD (including baseline and investment). This position interacts mainly with local Finance FP&A Managers and Directors, local Procurement, Controllership, HR, S&T Leads, S&T Ops Director, PMO Sr Manager and other S&T team members.

The purpose of this role is to work as a business partner to provide financial support and advice for decision making process. Also, this position will required to provide continuous added value to stakeholders in order to achieve aggressive productivity targets set up by the business as well as to provide support for investment execution to secure delivery of business capabilities.

Part of LatAm Productivity Central Comite, responsible of consolidation of our reported Productivity and monthly tracking in order to give full visibility to IT Leadership

Your Impact

Forecasting and Planning / Management Accounting

  • Finance Business Partner role for S&T Team. Works closely with individual budget owners to develop, analyze and own their financials to ensure forecast accuracy and meet business objectives
  • Lead/Coordinate/Elaborate the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP/SPP)
  • Monthly forecasting, working with budget owners to develop their bottom up Forecast and aligning the overall roll up with Finance Lead/team
  • Prepare AOP/Forecast/POR decks for S&T monthly reviews
  • Ensure accurate and on time analysis of monthly actuals vs. forecast/plan and own delivery of monthly rolling Forecast/Outlooks through close monitoring of budget performance with focus on forecast accuracy
  • Report S&T budget in SAP and TM1 with accuracy and on time, anticipating Risks and Opportunities to S&T and LatAm Finance in order to mitigate P&L impacts

Accounting/Actuals

  • Work with accounting financial team to manage the close process to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information in the systems
  • Work on monthly accruals, review and provide required documentation to ensure that they are still appropriate
  • Own the delivery of financial results through structured joint-effort and business partnering with assigned Local Functions and key stakeholders

Productivity and Investment Planning/Forecasting:

  • Review S&T and function productivity initiatives on a monthly basis with I&O and Deployment leads and align the updates and changes
  • Prepare the monthly Productivity Tracker for LatAm and send it to stakeholders

Other main tasks:

  • Finance point of contact for S&T budget owners and S&T community, to address adhoc queries related to processes, reports, financials, reclassifications, cross charges
  • Responsible for hierarchy changes for C&B/T&E/Procurement
  • Support Control initiatives that affect S&T and Region budget: Smart Spend, Concur, etc.
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • 3-4 years experience in Finance Planning/Accounting position
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or similar, Industrial Engineering or Economics
  • Highly analytical and strategic skills needed
  • Strong understanding of reporting, accounting and control processes
  • Strong leadership
  • Communication Skills (Multidisciplinary at all levels) - Create an inclusive culture
  • Analytical thinking and proactive personality
  • English - advanced level business conversations
  • SAP, Office Excel Advanced (Macros, Models, etc.), Power Point
