North America Insights & Intelligence (NA I&I):
NA Insights & Intelligence (NA I&I) is a team that represents a transformation of Shopper Analytics & Insights, Consumer Insights, Commercial Intelligence and Category Leadership resources to support Sales and Marketing plans for enterprise, national, and regional customers across the PepsiCo portfolio. This approach allows us to build best-in-class capabilities, develop deep functional expertise, and offer focused programs to drive growth with our customers. The NA I&I group will help PepsiCo provide our customers with cutting edge data and insights, as well as, personalized solutions to drive incremental growth for both our customers and PepsiCo.
ResponsibilitiesThis is a unique role on the Dollar General Category Management Team that sits at the intersection of high level analytics and category management underneath the Total Team Strategy/Automation Pillar. Key responsibilities include creating/driving value and developing capabilities from our core data sets – 1010data, Quantium, our internal POS data, Circana Complete Consumer, and Circana Market Data. You will collaborate within a matrixed environment, becoming an indispensable partner to technical and business teams to deliver projects that drive growth. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to define specific objectives and solutions for each business problem to solve. Additionally, you will verify data integrity, solve for data anomalies and consult on including additional data.This role will provide valuable business experience, category management experience, and strategy development for any data science/analytics experts looking for expanded opportunities.
- Help deliver Big Bet initiatives that are total PepsiCo in nature to include but not limited to: Team Data Strategy, Total Store, Front End, Shopper Segmentation, and certain white spaces.
- Help own and enable the team’s Data Strategy – setting the foundation for insights development across the team.
- Become the SME for all of our core data sources and help guide the team with automation opportunities to drive efficiency and accuracy.
- Utilize information from multiple sources such as 1010, Circana, Quantium, Numerator and internal research to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop impactful content to convey growth opportunities to internal and external partners across the main levers of our business with focus on assortment, space, promotions, pricing and displays
- Develop strong working relationships with Dollar General, internal and external data partners, and the broader PepsiCo Dollar General team.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of 5-7 years of broad Category Management, CPG, Data Science, and Shopper Insights experience required
- Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets, relational databases, data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
- Highly proficient in Circana, 1010data, and Quantium
- Highly proficient MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, SQL, Python, and Dashboard technologies
- Executive communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Passionate about problem solving and continued learning in both technical and leadership skills
- Create documentation for learnings and knowledge transfer
- Strategy experience preferred through internal/external consulting, sales strategy and or category leadership
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking; ability to link strategies and objectives to develop compelling stories
- Project management skills, ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
