Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The Procurement Sr. Manager – LATAM CAPEX will be responsible for designing, leading and implementing the Global CAPEX Strategy in LATAM, executing and implementing the sourcing strategies for Civil Works, Installations, Manufacturing, Packaging & Sustainability CAPEX categories. This position reports to the Global CAPEX leader and is responsible for a managed spend of approximately $530 million over 15 countries, 38 Plants, +400DCs and 9HQ.

This position is key to support the Procurement transformation and lead the agenda within CAPEX teams by integrating all LATAM while driving +20MM Productivity per year, and supporting other strategic agendas such as sustainability, BCP, digitalization and growth strategies.

Your Impact

As Procurement Sr. Manager - LATAM CAPEX your scope would consist of:

  • Develop and execute PSP and AOP CAPEX Plan on each BU with MSO’s alignment.
  • Ensure GP Policy Comply supported on Sourcing Strategy, applying 7 step methodology.
  • Develop and excecute Category Strategy:
    • Spend mapping for the Category.
    • Develop 3 year Strategy for each Sub-Category, understanding market trends and BOUs needs.
    • Understand each BOU business needs and economic / political situation.
    • Build partnership relations with functions, GP and MSO’s to guarantee proper excecution and alignment.
    • Ensure appropriate reporting and the impact of procurement initiatives in LATAM P&L.
  • Guarantee early notice with key staleholders and report of incidents in order to avoid any Business disruption.
  • Guarantee fluent communication with finance teams to forecast prices and updates.
  • Support the LATAM transformation of Indirects procurement by adoption and leverage of digitalization agenda (SpendHQ, Cirtuo, etc).
  • Sustainably deliver +6% cs productivity.
  • Support Career Plans to guarantee people development and backfields.
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Engineering, Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering.
  • Excellent Functional knowledge (+8 years in category management roles): depth in facilities/service category management processes and tools and other related categories in complex environment is desired, preferably within Food & Beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing processes and procurement best practices, with experience of implementing them in a regional/global environment.
  • Experience leading regional teams is desirable.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence across a matrix organization.
  • Strong grasp of general business economics & key cost & quality drivers.
  • Strong analytical & financial skills.
  • Experience with Ariba (RFPs, RFIs, e-auctions) and SAP.
  • Political & commercial savvy.
  • Ability to translate complex situations into simple messages for Executive level communication.
  • Results and action orientated: Comfortable setting and delivering against bold, stretch targets.
  • Excellent language skills: Spanish and English essential, both verbal and in writing. Portuguese desirable.
  • Understands the business cultures around LATAM sectors and the sensitivities that go along with it.
