To continue our success, we are looking for a Team Leader to join our Afternoon team with The Smith’s Snackfood Company.

  • Location: Regency Park (SA)
  • Position: Full Time Permanent
  • Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday 2:20pm to 10:20pm) Friday 12:00noon to 6:00pm

Responsibilities
  • Effective utilisation of labour hours to maximise product yields and minimise waste and breakage
  • Provided support to the team on busy production line
  • Manage production lines, equipment calibration and monitoring
  • Ensure conformance to daily production target
  • Maintain all housekeeping, quality and safety standards
  • Commitment to quality assurance, and completion of quality checks as required
  • Overseeing entire operations when the Frontline manager is on leave
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a food manufacturing/mechanical/hands-on role
  • Proven leadership abilities and the genuine desire to grow your career
  • A high mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail, safety and reliability
  • A flexible approach to ensure the job gets done right the first time and to ensure quality in every bag
  • A motivated individual with a hunger to learn new skills and challenge yourself
