Overview

The Finance Assoc Manager is a key member of the Customer Finance team and is responsible for supporting the Alt Channel (i.e., Walmart, Costco, & Dollarama) Retail Sales organization. In this role, you will be responsible for providing thought & financial leadership, ensuring that balanced growth and profitability strategies are planned and achieved.

Total Compensation: $84,100 - $134,100

Responsibilities
  • Work with Sales Strategy on the annual plan process providing thought leadership on growth-driver based build, summarizing gaps to BU targets, and recommending creative solutions towards closing the gap.
  • Responsible for identifying any fluctuations between the plan/forecast and actual sales trends. Communicate any concerns and develop solutions for driving sales or for modifying/adjusting activities to variations from the plan.
  • Provide insight and analysis into drivers of change for key metrics: Vol, CDA, DNP, MC and Profitability versus prior year and plan by customer and product.
  • Manage tight control and governance of Trade Spend programs with the customer team and ensure that ROI targets and funding principles are met.
  • Ensure deduction balance and post audits are managed within the current targets. Actively dispute and help resolve all invalid deductions/post audits with the customer team.
  • Utilize multiple building blocks (i.e. Brand & Revenue Management strategies) to develop LF DSD & DWD AOP customer targets.
  • Provide insight and analytics that help the DOS/KAM’s on customer team develop robust CAPS that deliver against AOP metrics, and accurate QBP forecasts.
  • Ensure customer team utilizes the Pricing Council process to review "pre" & "post" promotional event analysis and highlight areas of opportunity.
  • Coach, support and develop team members. This includes a Deduction analyst residing in Hyderabad and all Canadian analysts on the Customer Finance team.
  • Providing support for key business deliverables providing clear guidance to sales team- all focused on delivering profitable growth.
  • Support the successful transition to SAP TPM, which will be PBNA’s trade management system of the future, as well as the entire suite of new reporting tools being rolled out as part of PEP’s PGT journey.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or similar required
  • CMA or MBA preferred
  • 5 – 8 years of financial analytical and planning experience within Sales Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Customer Finance, etc.
  • Strong people management experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel required
  • Power BI, SAP AFO and IBM Cognos capabilities preferred
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and collaboration skills
  • Experience implementing new systems and processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Confidence in navigating a fluid environment with competing deliverables
  • Strong critical-thinking and root cause analysis skills
