Role Purpose
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a core member of the executive leadership team, accountable for shaping and stewarding the financial strategy across multiple markets within a complex, matrixed organization. The CFO partners closely with the GM, business leaders, and global finance counterparts to drive sustainable growth, disciplined value creation, and strong governance, while building a high‑performing, future‑ready finance organization.

Enterprise Financial Leadership
- Act as a strategic thought partner to the GM and leadership team, providing forward‑looking financial insights that influence key business, portfolio, and investment decisions across markets.
- Translate enterprise strategy into clear financial priorities, trade‑offs, and execution plans at market and cluster levels.
- Lead enterprise‑wide performance management, ensuring consistent financial rigor, transparency, and accountability across geographies.
Strategy, Growth & Value Creation
- Shape and execute multi‑year financial strategies that balance growth, profitability, cash flow, and risk across diverse markets.
- Evaluate and guide strategic initiatives including market expansion, M&A, restructuring, and capital deployment, ensuring alignment with long‑term value creation.
- Proactively identify growth opportunities, productivity levers, and margin enhancement initiatives across markets.
Planning, Budgeting & Performance Management
- Lead integrated annual and long‑range planning processes across markets, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and external realities.
- Drive disciplined forecasting, scenario planning, and performance reviews, translating insights into decisive actions.
- Establish strong KPI frameworks and dashboards to enable fact‑based decision‑making at all leadership levels.
Risk Management, Governance & Compliance
- Ensure robust financial controls, governance, and compliance across all markets, in line with regulatory, statutory, and corporate requirements.
- Anticipate and manage financial, operational, and geopolitical risks inherent in a multi‑market environment.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and transparency in all financial matters.
Finance Transformation & Digital Enablement
- Lead continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives, including process simplification, automation, and digital analytics.
- Elevate the finance function from transactional reporting to insight‑driven, business‑embedded partnership.
- Leverage data, technology, and advanced analytics to improve speed, accuracy, and decision quality.
People & Organization Leadership
- Build, lead, and inspire a diverse, geographically dispersed finance organization.
- Develop strong finance leaders and successors, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and learning.
- Operate effectively within a matrix organization, balancing enterprise standards with local market needs.
Education & Credentials
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Experience
- 20+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant time in senior finance leadership roles.
- Proven CFO or equivalent leadership experience in a multi‑market, multinational, matrixed organization, preferably within FMCG or a similarly complex operating environment.
- Demonstrated success in strategic financial leadership, transformation, value creation, and enterprise decision‑making.
- Strong experience partnering with senior executives and boards in high‑stakes, fast‑paced environments.
