Job Overview:-

  • Day-to-day / execution: Own the ongoing management of the Extruded portfolio, driving integrated marketing plans across the full marketing mix, partnering with Sales/Shopper/eComm/Supply/Finance, and managing agency delivery to hit brand and commercial KPIs.
  • Comms / brand building: Lead brand strategy and communications—annual planning, campaign development and rollout, creative/media briefing, and performance optimisation to grow penetration, relevance and equity.
  • Innovation / growth: Identify and deliver the innovation pipeline (NPD, renovations, limited editions), building business cases and go-to-market plans and coordinating cross-functional launch execution end-to-end.
Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end strategy and performance of the Extruded portfolio to deliver agreed growth targets, including brand positioning, portfolio roles, and annual/long-range planning.
  • Lead day-to-day brand management by translating consumer/customer insights into clear priorities, running the brand calendar, and ensuring consistent execution across all touchpoints.
  • Drive integrated marketing communications from strategy through to execution: lead agency briefs, oversee creative development, manage content plans, and optimise performance across ATL, digital/social and influencer/PR
  • Lead annual and long-term brand planning by translating consumer, category and commercial insights into a clear portfolio strategy and multi-year roadmap, whilst aligning cross-functional teams (Sales, Category/Shopper, R&D, Insights, etc)
  • Lead innovation and renovation across the full funnel, including opportunity identification, concept development, business case creation, stage-gate progression, pack/claims development, and go-to-market planning, partnering closely with cross functional team
  • Own budget management, including A&P planning, tracking, and post-activity evaluation to ensure spend delivers against commercial and brand KPIs.
  • Partner with Sales, Category and Shopper to land brand strategy through customer plans, shopper activations, and channel-specific execution that drives conversion and in-market impact.
  • Monitor performance and brand health through strong analytics and measurement, using learnings to continuously improve campaigns, innovation, and in-market plans.
Qualifications
  • The successful applicant must have several years’ Brand Management experience within the Australian market in either FMCG or related fast paced industry.
  • Demonstrates strong planning and organisational skills to effectively manage and execute projects
  • Experience in developing strong cross-functional relationships (Category, Shopper, R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, Commercialisation, Finance)
  • Technically proficient in FMCG data analysis (Circana or Nielsen) to gain insights for business decisions with ability to analyse brand performance and propose actions for leadership teams.
  • Excellent presentation skills – ability to present to large internal audiences and external retailers (both oral and written)
  • High levels of curiosity to bring ‘outside in’ inspiration and apply it to day to day thinking for Extruded portfolio
  • Financial acumen and basic P&L understanding
  • Experience in leading social, digital campaigns including acting as lead to external creative/media agencies (briefing, delivery, optimisation, post campaign analysis)
  • Ability to be highly organised yet adaptable to changing circumstances
