Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The Commercial Finance Manager partners with commercial teams and senior leadership to drive profitable growth by providing financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring optimal allocation of resources across brands, customers, and channels.

This role plays a critical part in translating commercial strategies into financial outcomes and ensuring delivery of business performance goals through robust planning, forecasting, and analysis for Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

Your Impact

  • Provide financial guidance on pricing, promotions, trade investments, and customer negotiations
  • Influence commercial decisions to maximize profitability and business growth
  • Challenge assumptions and ensure financial discipline in business plans, leading the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for commercial activities
  • Ensure accurate and timely forecasting of revenue, margins, and trade spending, translating commercial initiatives into financial projections
  • Provide financial insights, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis to support PR & USVI leadership decision-making
  • Partner with CapEx, productivity, and commercial teams to assess ROI and value creation initiatives
  • Prepare executive-ready materials for monthly closes, forecasts, LE, AOP, Flash meetings, and leadership reviews
  • Develop and maintain standardized dashboards, templates, and master files (Excel, Power BI, SAP, HFM)
  • Ensure data accuracy, transparency, and traceability across all FP&A deliverables
  • Translate complex financial results into clear, actionable management insights
  • Support PR & USVI Weekly sales meeting, alongside MCC Commercial Finance Team
  • Support budget owners with OpEx visibility, forecasting accuracy, and financial discipline.
  • Participate in business reviews, forecast discussions, productivity workshops, and weekly sales meetings.
  • Respond to ad-hoc financial analyses and drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • +5 years with similar roles
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and BI tools (Power BI, SAP, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex data.
  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting and financial modeling
  • Pro-activity to look for continuous process improvement
  • Able to design and implement strong executive reports
  • Proven record in delivering results and customer expectations
  • Ability to work with people of different levels of the organization including senior management
