Overview

Objective & Purpose:

  • Develop and execute Robust and comprehensive Demand Planning strategies and implement across PepsiCo India Region in alignment with BU and sector requirements
  • Act as interface between sales and supply chain by ensuring accurate sales forecasts for planning
  • Lead and continuously improve the S&OP process for India business in collaboration with sales, category, Supply planning to ensure execution of plans for business

Scope:

  • Yearly volume across 10+ brands and 230 SKUs contributing to ensure no opportunity losses and support planned volume and NR growths
  • All four Sales Units across the India Country spanning across COSOs, CoMans & DCs to serve Customers.
  • Key MT Chains SC delivery
  • National role working in collaboration with Sales, Category, Supply Planning to drive the end-to-end demand planning
  • New products, promotions, MRP changes leading to almost 300+ projects per year as per NPD commercialization calendar
Responsibilities
  • Accountable for forecasting sales demand as per the S&OP cycle to ensure better planning and execution.
  • Continuously improve the S&OP process to facilitate business decisions on driving profitable growth
  • Institutionalizing Best Practices and supporting tools as guided by sector- driving capability, digitization, and agile and synchronized supply chain planning, to deliver optimized costs and delivering productivity, service, and efficiency
  • Accountable for ensuring all demand planning KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, Fill rates, NPD timelines, are met within stipulates timelines in the most optimum manner for business.
  • Supporting execution of innovations, changeovers, NPDs within stipulated timelines to support the innovation agenda for PepsiCo
  • Facilitate Planning for AOP and SBP in collaboration with Sales, P&P, Supply Planning
  • Acts as the single point of contact for Sales teams for forecasting future sales and providing necessary inputs to supply Planning to ensure execution.
  • Custodian of FG write off to ensure it is kept to a minimum and have constant improvement Year on Year through efficient planning and by collaborating with Sales and Supply Planning
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of Supply Chain/ Logistics Operations with preferred FMCG Experience
  • Engineer with an MBA preferable from a premier SC institute
  • An excellent working knowledge of Supply Chain processes and systems
  • An extensive understanding of Supply Chain Management, both operations and development, and a good working knowledge of the broader Supply Chain Industry
  • Experience in leading a mature S&OP enabled Supply Chain team
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong communication, influencing and collaborative skills
  • Outward looking with a real understanding of the key customer requirements and developments

  • Good Process automation knowledge
