Overview
•Lead end-to-end new product development—from ideation through launch—while driving technical brand stewardship to enable breakthrough nutrition innovation.
•Build platform-specific market and consumer insights and strengthen technical capabilities to develop H2–H3 innovation pipelines that deliver breakthrough nutrition innovations.
Responsibilities
•Partner closely with Marketing and Nutrition teams to identify unmet consumer needs and translate insights into a robust innovation pipeline.
•Lead cross-functional R&D teams to develop products end-to-end, including raw material validation, regulatory review, quality and food safety assessments, recipe design, and product stability evaluation.
•Collaborate with Operations and co-manufacturers to drive technical assessments and scale-up trials, enabling successful commercialization.
•Build Nutrition technical capabilities and define a clear technical roadmap to drive differentiation and strengthen defensibility.
•Execute the breakthrough innovation calendar, ensuring key milestones are delivered on time.
•Co-develop H2/H3 innovation pipeline, translating strategic priorities into a clear portfolio of initiatives.
•Build distinctive capabilities with a defined roadmap in place across the top identified focus areas.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree or above in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related discipline.
•6+ years of product development experience in a multinational food company.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
•Proven experience serving as an independent project lead (required).
•Fluent written and spoken Mandarin and English.
•Hands-on experience with product design methodologies, processes, and tools used in R&D projects/activities.
•Basic knowledge of adjacent technical functions, including (but not limited to) nutrition, regulatory/technical compliance, consumer insights, and packaging.
