We are looking for a Costing Manager to join our Finance team in Istanbul. This role supports the company by maintaining efficient, well-controlled Inventory / Costing process systems and provide financial stewardship of company assets and activities by safeguarding company assets per PepsiCo Policies and USGAAP.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate, on time preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual reports, variance analyses in accordance with PepsiCo Policies and Procedures. (Variance Analyses, PBR Report explanations, discrepancies, etc.)
  • Responsibility of total Beverage & Snacks cogs and inventory actual costs
  • Assign and coordinate productivity projects with related departments to improve DII
  • Identify control opportunities and process optimization opportunities and develop projects for I2C, with Operations, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to improve controls and effectiveness.
  • Continuous assessment of the compliance and effectiveness of control environment for I2C cycle and taking necessary actions to enhance controls.
  • Preparation and ownership OCF forecast for Inventory and excellent sense of business foresight, DII, and strong follow up, tracking during the year.
  • Cola tax management
  • Decide accounting treatments and ensure implementation of PepsiCo policies and procedures. (Supply Chain, Logistic, Plant teams, Marketing…etc.)
  • Assign and coordinate productivity projects with related departments to improve DII.
  • Lead preparation process for period end closing, preparation for Balance Sheet Review
  • Reserve calculation for general policies and specific situations
  • Responsible for Inventory Policy application / Stock procedures by Logistics & Production teams
  • Manage I/C price process and track FMS % target
  • Control write off materials journals and approval for system adjustments
Qualifications
  • 8+ years experience in Finance with strong control background – Audit background
  • Bachelor of Accounting/Finance subject
  • Solid understanding of business levers
  • Go-To-Person on Performance Metrics and Best Practices around Metrics
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, cross-geographically and across multiple cultures
  • Strong internal and external communicator, influencer, and negotiator
  • Ability to set and priorities short, mid and long term objectives
  • High energy and strong curiosity for learning
  • Deep understanding of financial management principles, including cost accounting
