The Opportunity
The Global Procurement Associate Manager role provides a unique and entrepreneurial opportunity to collaborate globally with peers and cross-functional leaders, developing business cases and influencing new category strategies. Collaboration with functional/Business management is frequent and required, therefore excellent communication skills are paramount. In addition, this role will require the ability to understand fleet operations and influence key decision makers, particularly across sectors and international business units.
The Fleet R&M Global Procurement Associate Manager is responsible for the execution of sourcing strategies for operating supplies and services across our global food and beverage fleet. Scope includes repair, maintenance, tires, and services required for PepsiCo’s >100k fleet assets. The Associate Manager and team are accountable for >$430 million annual spend and generates >$15 million+ in annual savings. In addition, this role will partner with PepsiCo’s fleet COEs, supply chain leaders, and local procurement teams to develop sourcing strategies internationally.
Your Impact
As Procurement Associate Manager - Global Fleet R&M your scope would consist of
• Category Execution & SupportSupport the development and execution of fleet sourcing strategies in partnership with Fleet COEs and sector procurement leads. Contribute insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive cost, service, and operational improvements across the opex fleet categories globally.• Sourcing & ContractingLead defined RFPs, negotiations, and contract implementations for global partnerships. Partner with sector and local procurement and operational teams to ensure contracts are commercially sound, operationally viable, and aligned with regional strategies.• Supplier Management & PerformanceManage day-to-day supplier relationships. Track supplier performance against established KPIs, identify gaps, and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, service, quality, and innovation. Develop and execute supplier engagement plans.• Supply Assurance & Risk ManagementSupport supply assurance plans to ensure continuity of parts and services. Proactively identify risks and escalate issues with recommendations to mitigate service or supply disruptions.• Productivity & Value DeliveryDeliver annual productivity targets within assigned scope by executing sourcing initiatives, leveraging scale where applicable, and supporting multi-year productivity pipelines developed at the category level. Identify opportunities for cash flow improvements and total cost of ownership advantages.• AOP Support & TrackingContribute to the development and execution of category AOP commitments. Track performance versus plan, provide variance analysis, and partner with sector leads to support delivery of AOP targets.• Cross Functional CollaborationWork closely with cross functional and cross sector stakeholders to align sourcing activities with fleet operational needs and business priorities tied to the global R&M sourcing strategy.• Industry & Market InsightsMonitor global market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments within assigned categories. Share insights to inform sourcing decisions and support risk mitigation and innovation efforts.• Continuous Improvement & Process DisciplineApply standard sourcing processes, tools, and governance models. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, analytics, and ways of working within the category team.• Leadership & InfluenceDemonstrate strong collaboration and influencing skills across a matrix organization. Effectively communicate recommendations, progress, and risks to peers and leaders, escalating as appropriate.
Qualifications¿Who Are We Looking For?
• BS in Logistics, Engineering, Business, Operations, or Finance• 6+ years of experience in the fleet industry, procurement, or supply chain• Knowledge and understanding of fleet operations preferred• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment• Proven track record of effectively engaging with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives, resolve challenges, and achieve results in a complex organizational environment.• Demonstrated success in influencing peers across multiple functions, fostering collaboration and alignment toward common goals. • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, enabling clear articulation of vision and swift consensus-building with management inside and outside the organization.• Excellent skills in analytics, program management, and negotiations. • Commercially savvy with ability to execute intricate and impactful global initiatives.• Experience evaluating sourcing and supplier options using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis to support cost, service, and operational trade off decisions.• Proven ability to develop and influence recommendations, and drive decisions quickly, especially in situations without direct authority • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment• Travel 10%
