Business Model Transf Assoc Manager

This role effective orchestrates the monthly demand collection for EU markets used for Sector S&OP forums

  • Collaborate with BU DP, E2E & S&OP leads to ensure an authorised 24M Demand signal is published monthly across all Europe BU’s & Categories, suitable for use in Cluster SMR/ Sector Exec S&OP forums leveraging JDA/ o9/ BlueYonders
  • Demand Planning and Mosaic for AOP/ PxF as system of record
  • Provide analytics insights on demand trends that correlate to European Supply platforms, subbrands and packaging sizes to drive effective decision making on demand shaping actions (Revenue management) or sourcing/ capacity investments (Profit management)
  • Establish process for validation of 24M volume forecast by MU/ category/ platform with Demand Planning & E2E teams, including validation of forecast assumptions, mix change insights, NPD timing and risks and opportunities
  • Develop an integration solution for markets that do not have the pre-requisite JDA/ Mosaic architecture
  • Provide insights on AOP submission quality by MU/ category/ platform, using extracts from JDA & Mosaic at key stages of the process, to ensure Supply Chain have visibility of variances and changes in demand
  • Manage and develop graduate resources to support the team/ process, providing coaching to enable permanent placements for the graduates.
Responsibilities
  • Provision of demand insights by sourcing cluster to be presented during Sector Exec iSOP forums to support business growth in Revenue, Profit and Share (Europe ~$12bn of Net Sales)
  • Enable BU Demand planning teams optimise JDA demand planning capability:
    • Ensure authorised 24M Demand Signal is published ahead of SMR and Exec iSOP
    • Share analytics insights on key DP KPIs 6M FA/ BIAS & FVA to drive corrective actions
    • Gather feedback from DP leads/ iSCP CoE/ iS&OP PMO on Continuous Improvement opportunities to further improve demand planning effectiveness
  • Partner with the BU Demand Planning & E2E Leads/ iSCP CoE Business partners & iS&OP PMO to develop BU DP teams on system and process adherence
  • Keep a repository of all Financial forecast submissions (AOP/ P4F/ PSP) by BU to be enable variance analysis with the latest BU Demand Signals.
  • Accountable for maintaining all Sector DMR/ MBR process documentation and training materials
  • Develop a Long Term Demand Planning Key User Network to share best practice and learnings
  • Develop, educate and communicate S&OP KPI scorecard, including governance of standardization vs proliferation/ specific market needs
Qualifications
  • Candidate should have 10-12 years of experience
  • Expert in DP analytics to deliver business insights for SOP process
  • Deep understanding of internal & external Demand trends and statistical forecasting capability
  • Ability to interpret complex planning challenges into simple business language
  • Strong mathematical, statistical and Analytical skills
  • Collaboration & Influencing Skills
  • Ability to work independently across multiple geographies
  • Fluent in English
  • Proactively shares information, best practices, and ideas with others throughout PepsiCo
  • Stays current with trends in the external environment and applies that information within the context of his or her job
