The Director, Global People Leader and Employee Communications role leads enterprise storytelling that brings PepsiCo’s People strategy, culture priorities, and transformation agenda to life. Operating at the intersection of the People function, Corporate Affairs, and Global Employee Communications, this role translates People priorities into clear, compelling narratives that drive understanding, alignment, and action across functions, markets, and the enterprise. The role drives the Chief People Officer internal communications programming and partners on external speaking opportunities and visibility opportunities. The role partners closely with global communications teams to elevate people first stories through enterprise channels, while also enabling strong function communications that ensure People initiatives are consistently understood, connected to business priorities, and executed with impact.
ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Communications and Leader Engagement, the Director will:
Global HR/People Employee Communications:
- Establish and deliver on strategic communications planning tied to People function programming, platforms and campaigns. Serve as a strategic connector between the People function teams, driving alignment across by coordinating messaging, timing, and channel strategy for People-led initiatives.
- Drive the Chief People Officer internal communications programming and partner on external speaking opportunities and visibility opportunities. Serve as a strategic communications advisor, anticipating needs and supporting priority moments with strong narrative direction and proof points.
- Lead communications that support PepsiCo global and People function priorities, including transformation, leadership, capability building, recognition, and culture activation.
- Translate complex People initiatives into clear, human, and action-oriented storytelling aligned to PepsiCo strategy and values.
- Reinforce the PepsiCo mission and One PepsiCo Way through enterprise-wide storytelling frameworks and channels.
- Collaborate on communications planning for People-led campaigns, and flagship moments with program teams and leaders. Shape executive ready narratives, briefing materials, and storytelling that position People priorities as enterprise enablers.
- Identify and develop real associate stories, leadership perspectives, and cultural moments that humanize strategy and drive connection at scale.
- Partner with Corporate Affairs, Transformation, Change and functional teams to align messaging, timing, and channels.
- Develop measurement and evaluation tools and reports to analyze program in collaboration with larger program teams to ensure impactful data and insightsperformance and engagement
Overall:
- Partner with COEs to ensure that key assets, toolkits and playbooks are shared across the larger Global Employee Communications networks for localization and implementation
- Other tasks that might be required to fill the requirements of the role in service of the above.

Compensation & Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $132,200 - $262,400.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
- Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in employee, corporate, or people focused communications, preferably in a large, matrixed organization.
- Experience with executive level stakeholder management, programming and communications planning
- Proven experience supporting senior leaders and executives with clear, strategic communications.
- Experience partnering across HR/People functions and collaborating with Corporate Affairs, Global Communications, and other enterprise teams.
- Strong ability to translate complex People strategies, programs, and transformation initiatives into clear, compelling narratives.
- Executive presence with sound judgment and comfort operating in high visibility, fast moving environments.
- Culturally and politically astute, with strong empathy, discretion, and the ability to quickly assess context and stakeholder dynamics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience communicating to diverse internal audiences across regions and levels.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Highly collaborative, with a demonstrated ability to influence, align, and drive outcomes across functions and teams.
